LG introduced CLOiD at CES 2026 as a home robot built around a wheeled base, two seven-degree-of-freedom arms and five independently actuated fingers on each hand. LG’s staged home scenarios include breakfast preparation, starting laundry cycles, then folding and stacking garments.
The official scenario includes retrieving milk from a refrigerator and placing a croissant in an oven.
Each arm has seven degrees of freedom and each hand has five independently actuated fingers.
